It's been almost three years since the first time we looked at Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, and this time we're doing it right! We're revisiting the classic romance with a three-part look at the classic filmed adaptations, and the some of the more out-there adaptations, too!
In this episode—Part Two of Three—we re-discuss the last of the traditional Pride and Prejudice adaptations:
- Pride and Prejudice (BBC/A&E, 1995), directed by Simon Langton, written by Andrew Davies, and starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth.
- Pride and Prejudice (Focus Features, 2005), directed by Joe Wright, written by Deborah Moggach, and starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen.
